Creating the right texture in the cut to utilise your natural flow of the hair can literally change the way the hair sits! Now sure it’s not like you can make straight hair curly but it’s about making the best of what you have. It may be a certain shape and length would work better snd encourage the hair to behave better. It may mean creating texture by adding less weight or more in certain areas.

Handy hint or word of advice would be stop touching your hair so much, typically when you try too much you end up creating frizz or the wrong movement and the structure goes for a toss! Use the right products and apply them gently rather than brushing or combing your hair too much.

NOT EVERYTHING CAN BE DIY

Put your hand up if you baked Banana Bread in 2020 🙋🏼‍♂️ keep them up if you worked out online 🙋🏼‍♂️ get comfortable because keep them there if you grew tomatoes 🍅 🙋🏼‍♂️ So by now we all think we can DIY almost everything because we had too and some things we can do better. I must say our home made carrot cake is the best I’ve ever had!

But when it comes to doing your own hair color or cut it’s just not the same because even if you have the 35 min video open of “ How to cut hair like a pro in less than an hour” you most likely can’t condense years of practical experience in a 35 min video.

The need of the hour earlier was DIY because there wasn’t options plus no one was looking at you. Now it’s slightly different and you have access to salons. The salon open so you don’t have to worry about helping yourself.

DIY blowout doesn’t make you a hairdresser Susan

We must say it’s kind of annoying and amusing at the same time that some people will go out of the way to explain to us how to do our job. We do listen and at times you may know the odd thing we can’t figure out ourselves.

Saying that and just to clarify things, we do awesome hair, not pubic hair, we don’t do waxing we are a hair Salon. Yes we are busy enough just to do hair, hair color, hair cutting, hair styling and that’s why we are called a “hair Salon”.
