Banana Cake, Yoga Work outs & Beach Waves

We are guessing by now you like majority of people on the planet have nailed beach waves and you have seen more variations than we have eaten Banana cake! ENOUGH ALREADY!

Let’s be honest the look is dreamy and unpretentious, it does scream a very real 2020/21 look still but honestly little tired of it. Sure Banana cake is nice but not every single day of my life!

Ok so what then, how can you change your hair without cutting it short we hear you ask! Well the next step for hair like this would be to introduce bangs or bring the length up. Bangs are the safest bet for anyone not sure if you want to take the plunge of reducing the length or not.

Same same but bangs

Both look good honestly, we love both but longer bangs just give you another option to play with.

Different color we know but you get the idea, shorter length and a little texture with long bangs

So next time you are thinking of going the the salon have some hair references put aside so we can talk about it next time we see you.

What Delhi pollution is doing to your hair

If you live in India chances are it does for several reasons, could be the pollution, all the treatments or services you are doing that you don’t need or it could be a build up of pollutants from the water.

Because of the population there is possibly always going to be s pollution issue, unless we all change our garbage Habbits it will take several lifetimes ( do your bit to recycle and compost and not litter before you complain about it )

But we are here to talk about hair so let’s, we see a lot of people doing this or that service simply because it’s on offer or told to them they need it when they actually know they don’t. Not sure why but they just go for it thinking, what harm could it do!

Too much of anything is not good! If you’re getting color for example, putting it through the ends every few weeks is a sure way to end up long term with hair that’s frizzy, dehydrated and split. Then once it is in bad shape you do a keratin treatment in the hope that will make it shinny and smooth.

Now separately they both are true but when you do them both, one to fix what the other has done ( due to improper application ) then you are asking for problems and there will only be one solution…… ✂

So how can you make sure your hair stays healthy and not need constant SOS every 6 months?

• Only color regrowth, the ends can be 1-1.5 shades lighter than roots this actually looks natural.

• Don’t do rebonding if you have any color in your hair

• Only do keratin if you need it, it is not going to add moisture it relaxes the internal structure of your hair, giving you 30% less frizz and curl.

• Trim your hair every 6-8 weeks

• Use a SLS & SLES free shampoo daily followed by a conditioner.

• Do not apply oil, ever. This build up sure it makes it shinny but dehydrates the hair

• When blowdrying don’t over heat the hair, use heat protection products and only iron lightly

• Protein or moisture treatments after every color to balance out the moisture.

If you feel the water quality is causing your hair damage or just want to be sure, rinse your hair in filtered water prior to getting out of the shower.

Hairdressing can not be a pie graph

Information is always part of the story, heart and passion can not be put into a graph and whilst your teacher loved to offer you examples in a pie graph or apples it will never ever be a real picture if your not doing it for the right reasons.

We have seen pie graphs, that look like a cheap undercooked apple pie, a PDF that has more information in it than a arms treaty but still am yet to see actually passion for this craft.

Maybe because the people doing it are in a race? Fastest, biggest, most this most that, not really sure what the motivation is to be in it other than to cash out who knows.

Well we are not a bakery, we don’t bake pies, although if we did they would be colourful and you wouldn’t need to cover them in ketchup in order to eat them. But we don’t.  We do hair, our business is hair, our focus is hair, our education is hair and our drive is to be the best.

Just amazing hair!

Millennials decoded

Your a wordsmith, somewhat a genius when it comes to speach in fact some people may say your gifted but somehow your not getting your point across.

It’s not about Mellenials or the kids of today it’s just that the world has evolved and maybe we all should get on board before it’s too late!

Funny how so many people talk about new age or the latest, yet don’t actually get the so called Millenials. Not saying we know them but we do not package our words with a sprinkle of words that even native English speaking people have no clue what they mean without checking in a dictionary.

Communication changes every day, if your in the business of marketing, service, writing, customer service, sales, ad creatives etc etc you need to have your shit sorted! Because india has the largest youth population in the world so if you are not a game changer in time you will be considered useless.
