What are you eating?

It’s gone from eat everything I’m craving and wash it down with booze to I couldn’t be bothered now sitting somewhere between so hungry I would eat anything to can’t be bothered to eat. Sounds familiar?

Decided to reduce intake as the temptation to graze all day is real so better to reduce overall intake but honestly not going out of my way. If it brings you joy, eat it! If it makes you happy for even a minute do it. Your waistline will come back, your hair will look hot again and the world will continue to revolve. Chill out but make sure there is some element of healthy eating going on while in lockdown to keep your immune system functioning and giving you the best chance to fight off any illness.

Obviously if you are looking for a diet that will increase your hair growth or make your hair healthier the easiest way to have that is by eating a balanced overall diet. Yes possibly TV frozen meals or pre packaged foods are not on that list so will require a bit more work, you have the time to invest in it right now so why not!

Information is so readily available and you have so much time on free, do some research and create the perfect diet for you!

It’s no secret that our bodies need water but for some of us we still need reminding. No coffee doesn’t count it’s water, plain water you need to drink.

Veg or non Veg?

So recently I met someone who had lost a LOT of weight, we got chatting ( my first reaction was is she sick? ) she had been on a “trend diet” loosing over 10kg in a matter of two months which is crazy!

After we finished chatting and me thinking wtf I need to know what she did here, we started talking hair and this is when I knew something was wrong. About 30% of her hair at the top had fallen out, like gone, vanished finito bye bye. I Couldn’t believe what I was seeing it was crazy how suddenly this had happened between visits.

You all need to know the basics behind a healthy lifestyle and food, rather than possible having a flirtatious relationship with what goes into your mouth or treating it like fuel, try thinking about it as the difference between health and sickness. We get a lot of people ask ” what should I eat to make my hair grow longer faster etc etc” these same people literally put their hair through hell, most times not even getting it trimmed regularly, over doing colours and damaging it constantly. Yet expect eating a so called ” super food” will make it all go away…. it won’t.

Before you get into a diet that will surely drop a few kilos fast it’s important to know you could be entering into a situation leaving your body short of what it needs and could experience all sorts of side effects. Our bodies need certain things in order to function properly so ensure that’s happening before you try and defy science and think you can break the law of nature.
