Why you should grow a beard!

For some the thought of having a beard seems like hell, the heat, the feeling of having all that facial hair on your face and not feeling your actual skin but it has a purpose for many guys! It’s not that hot, it can be tamed and it doesn’t have to be a burden it just needs maintenance.

A beard can do what plastic surgery does

Now no one needs “fixing” let’s get that straight right now, guy or a girl you need nothing to be you, you are just fine ok! But if we are talking about being more appealing to the naked eye then there can be some things we all could do that can help and having a beard could be one of them. Face shape plays a big role in creating the right hair specifically for you and Understanding that can help you decide if you should grow a beard or not.

For some the options have not so much to do with just simply Faceshape it goes a little further and can literally change everything. If it feels right and makes you happy then it’s the right thing to do.

Hair grows so it’s not really such a big deal, caring for your beard and skin underneath it is important so make sure for hygiene purposes that you adapt and ensure you are washing the beard and skin several times a day or it will get irritated from infection caused by dirt and bacteria.

So if you have a need to lengthen your chin, add length to your face or hide an imperfection then maybe a beard is for you, doesn’t have to be long or “big” a simple 3-4 day growth can serve the purpose perfectly then trimming regularly at home can work!

Summer Beard tips

Any bloke with a beard will tell you that at times it gets itch as hell, you just want to scratch it till your face falls off. Obviously doing this in public sends off jungle man vibes ( and not in a Tarzan good way ) so it’s best to follow a few rules to keep the skin and face healthy to avoid this.

Wash your beard daily, you can use the same shampoo as you do for your hair, beat to use a Sulfate & Parabin free products they are gentle. If you have a longer beard wash it after eating to make sure there is no food left it it 🙊

Condition only the ends of your beard, do not apply the conditioner on your face. Comb it with the conditioner in

Moisturise your skin under your beard.

Do not! Apply oils on your face.

Sadly a lot of guys tend to neglect your skin and when you have a beard the general thought is its low maintanence, which is true however there are things you need to do so it is easier but also looks groomed.
Trimming your beard should be done every 2-3 weeks to keep it in shape, whilst it grows at the same speed as the rest of your hair, it can get out of shape faster.
