We reopened on the 3rd June after being closed for 11 weeks, various amount of apprehension which is normal and did various run through scenario’s on hygiene until we all were happy and felt safe, for both the team as well as the clients.
We have only maximum of two clients in the salon at any time, with a sanitize break to ensure proper swab down of all touch points, no cash only card with no one touching your card or machine, it’s covered each time in cling film and sprayed down. If you wish to be the only person in the salon please request that when booking and we will do our best to offer you a suitable time for that, however these slots are limited.
No drinks, coffee or food allowed in the salon and no one to enter unless you are getting your hair done. The front door is locked and upon arrival ( as long as it is the set time ) we let you in, check temperature, sanitise your hands and drop any bags at reception. We temperature check everyone including our team before entry.
We are not doing blow dry’s because it pushes the air around in the salon too much and whilst we are a safe zone, we feel safer not risking any element of infection. For colors we provide disposable face masks which can be changed prior to entering or in the washroom.
We limit any small talk face to face ( even with mask on ) and consult from over 1.5 metres away and all changes in hairstyle we request to connect on FaceTime prior to your appointment so we can chat and see your face without a mask while you are at home.
Yes it’s a lot to take in, we know but safety of our team and you is paramount and if we have to change down a gear or two and be extra careful then that’s what we all must do. If you have any request or question please don’t hesitate to ask as we all know it’s a stressful time.
