We are restricting numbers

Whilst things have certainly become a lot less stressful in terms of the pandemic, we are still very aware that it’s not over and have not changed our approach since the start!

Maximum two clients at any time, no extra people allowed, everyone wearing mask the entire time. Temperature check and hand sanitizer upon entry.

We won’t be serving beverages or allowing people to drink or eat while in the salon. All this is fir everyone’s safety, physical and mental, regardless of your vaccination situation.

Bookings are suggested 3-4 days in advance and we are open 10-5pm Monday – Saturday

How do you say Balayagè

It’s not that new in fact it’s been around for years and has made a dramatic increase in the last 2-3 years. Now with everyone wanting a longer lasting color that doesn’t break the bank every month, this technique is it! It’s free hand painting on mid lengths to ends to avoid a grow out mark and ease of getting it done again for months. It’s maintenance friendly and can last up to 12-14 months depending on color and length.

It is adaptable to almost everyone and the only limitation is your imagination plus your base color! Yes your current base color matters. You can not be coloring your hair black or dark brown and expect by doing this you will be blonde in 1,2,3 or even 4 sittings. However it can be the ideal transitional color to break it up.

A subtle blend using the Balayagè technique

Can be bold, can be subtle depending on what you are after. The choice is yours.

Now how do you pronounce it? It’s a French word so it’s ok if you get it wrong. Balayagè pronounced “Belli-aj” it’s not a color, it’s a technique. Talk to your hairstylist and discuss if this technique is for you!

Communication is key

Everything in life revolves around having clear communication, doesn’t matter if we are talking about business, relationships or getting your hair done. If communication is clear then you are setting yourself up for success. One of the biggest problems we have seen is lack of communication and both parties being on the same page.

You call this short
Some call this short
For some this is considered short
This may be an air dried blowout to some
This might be an air dried blow out for others

Hair is completely different for every single person, texture, density and movement along with your current filters of what long, short, natural, big, small is it all depends on you. Along with the fact that everyone has a different version of life, one word can mean so many things.

Having an in-depth consultation prior to making big decisions can be the difference between ok and super happy with your hair! Thank
