This is Baliage, its freehand painting on the hair in selected sections that are specifically coloured and create a seamless smooth blending of color. Can be light or can be subtle, best to do 3-4 inches away from scalp and is easily maintained and doesn’t require much maintenance. Its our Favourite color technique right now as it gives you color without looking like you tried too hard!

This is Ombre, not for the faint hearted and is in your face, our guess is that it started with someone wanting to grow out the overall blonde color and simply could not be bother doing it so…Boom the trend started. The darker your hair the more extreme it can appear.

Dip Dye in pastel, yes as the name suggests it looks like you dropped the last 5-6 inches of your hair in a bucket of color.

So before you say you want XYZ make sure you have a proper conversation with your stylist and have a good understanding of the difference or you will likely be left with a look you didnt intend!
