The cost of being a dreamer

Growing up I recon I was fairly lucky, was always encouraged to dream big and whatever I wanted it was achievable, nothing can stop you! Now whilst that is encouraging as a child sooner or later you grow up and realise that life has a lot more depth and issues than simply just dreaming and doing whatever you want, bills come, life happens and before you know it, things become complicated…or do they?

They say as a child your mind believes almost anything and your imagination is so powerful because you don’t have the life experience so you don’t stop your imagination from thinking you can do anything. Well sure as we grow up shit happens and you get the choice to believe it or wallow in petty and think ah well thats not for me! I guess its then when the real strength of your dream and passion will come into reality and if you want it bad enough, there will be nothing you won’t do to get it.

The issue is with a lot of people is after knocking on doors and being told no so many times you end up believing it isn’t going to work ( and maybe it won’t, but maybe it will ) and you give up, when the next door you could have knocked on could have been a yes but you stopped and gave up on your dreams.

There is no secret, its obvious, if you want something bad enough there will be nothing you won’t do to get it, work 20 hours a day 7 days a week if you have too, then once you are on your way, work 24 hours hours a day to make sure it happens and you keep it! Never get complacent, always be grateful and help others reach their goals as well as this is when true power and success comes!
