Wear this, wear that
Do this, do that
Don’t talk to this guy, don’t be friends with that guy.
It’s ok to have an opinion of things it’s another to tell people what to do, after all it’s your life. Strangely it happens every single day, kids are told what jobs they should have, what to study, what friends to have and yes in 2017 who to marry and where to live. Now without getting into a debate on all of it we think your hair is our battle so it’s important we fight the good fight.
The way we look when we see our ref election changes the way we feel about ourselves, I’m sure your friends and loved ones want you to have a healthy self esteem right?
Have a little fun with your hair, could be mild or it could be dramatic but think of it as an extension of who you are, it’s showing the world your personality on your head.
It started as just making it more available and now it’s as common as the lead cheerleader!
Why be common, get a booking with us and don’t eat basic or look basic!
Education for everything is not about finishing school and boom you know it all, you finish school then it’s starts and you never ever finish!
Hairdressing is a continuos journey of education, new techniques, new products, improving yourself and the way you deliver.
“When your green your growing when your ripe your rotten”
In other words when you think you know everything, is when you should stop because your dead! After 30 years doing what I do I don’t claim to know everything in fact I don’t. Hairdressers around the world spend a small fortune as do salon owners on building the skills, often traveling to all corners of the world to get it.
Success doesn’t come from doing something once, then keep changing it, it comes from doing one thing over and over and improving it each time you do it. Hairdressing is an art that a lifetime of training would never be enough, when you get that success will follow.
When it comes to us as humans it’s exactly the same. Day in day out improving and evolving to be a better person. Imagine if we still acted like we did when we were 14!? I guess there would be a lot of so called adults acting like spoilt brats screaming in bed till 2pm until they got their way!
Go out, get up and make it happen. It’s not a destination it’s a journey!!
You wash it and condition it every day, so that’s taking care of it right?
No it’s not, regardless of what your length it there has to be more than basic care. Unless the drowned rat look is in you need to do the following!
Yes you need too
- Wash and condition it daily
- Dry it either with a towel or hairdryer depending on your styling requirement.
- Use product to ensure it behaves
- Get it trimmed every 4-6 weeks
- Change your style slightly every few times, nothing more boring that the same hair month after month
- Hairy neck is not cool, trim that!
- If it’s growing out of your ears, trim that too!
- If it’s a notted mess after the shower, for the love of Jesus please comb it
Guys your hair, given the fact 50% of you will loose it by 40 you need to be taking care of it!
This is a community service announcement!
What crap! Give me a week on the beach any day I say, but I do know that feeling when life has become a little boring, your routine has become more like a checklist rather than a life. Well maybe it’s time to spice things up?
Yes there are a lot of things that can heat things up, but we are talking hair you flithy little animals
If you have been putting a change on hold then January is the perfect time to jump and make the changes you want to see in your life! Log out of Tinder, turn off netflix and get your butt off the couch and get the change you deserve for this year in 2017!
What are you waiting for?
A lot of people peak there motivation for 12 months between 12.01am on the 1st January to about lunchtime on 2nd then go back into the same habbits both mentally as well as physically. Different people say different things about how long it takes to create intention into a habit and reform behavior but I guess we are all human and it’s easy to just think F#%* it whatever.
If your feeling like crap,be it your stupid boss, your crappy boyfriend or girlfriend or just simply aren’t feeling it then a visit to the salon for a little makeover and a change may be just the answer.
If your bed has two sides we suggest you push it up against the wall so youbonoy get out of the right side and keep your salon visits to every 6 weeks that way your setting yourself up for success!
See you in the salon soon!
