It’s often thought that it needs to be complicated to be believed, could it be as simple as diet and sleep? You think things should be complicated and there are secrets only a specialist knows I guess. Well there are some but the basic foundation of healthy hair and healthy growth is diet.


Like a lot of things, the better quality goes in the better quality comes out, it’s not that hard to understand. If you’re living on junk food and lack 8 hours sleep a day don’t think going to a salon or doctor for any new treatment is going to do anything. It’s not.

Recent results of a study revealed that having fruit daily along with a balanced diet will ensure your body functions the way it was designed and hair growth is within its normal range!


Can certain food increase hair growth? Easy answer is no

Vitamin and supplements do they help? If your not eating healthy they can buy obviously eating healthy is going to be far better than eating crap and taking supplements

Does sleep really effect hair? Yep your body needs 8-10 hours shut eye!
A balanced diet covering all 5 food groups daily with 8-10 hours sleep. Hair growth is slightly faster in summer than winter so follow the sunshine around the world and avoid winter is a sure way to get your hair longer faster!

Not a new concept but you can’t expect to be the most functional human possible if you refill daily with toxic waste. 


Now we all have our moments when we we top up on a little “junk” like a lot of things it’s ok in moderation but making fast food your staple diet is not a healthy long term option. 

There are five food groups and a daily requirement our body needs to be at its potential, just because of your laziness you can not justify not being healthy and then expect great hair, skin, nails etc.

Your hair outside your body ( the visible stuff ) is dead keratin, the growth happens inside your body so before you start thinking about things you can do on the outside make sure your body is all set up for the best production for growth!


Obviously a good balanced diet is needed, a good amount of sleep, adequate hydration, limited stress etc etc and the list goes on. Let’s think about your scalp as the environment, it effects the growth but last time we checked, limited absorption of product, serum or your favorite ” hair spa” is not going to miraculously effect your hair that is under your scalp. 

A healthy scalp needs regular shampooing, daily is recommended with a Sulfate free product and never, never put oil on your scalp. It effects the ph level of the scalp area which in turn effects hair growth and not in a good way. 

A good diet, good sleeping pattern and good products when regularly shampooing. Sadly eating this or that to try to assist will help as much as eating 300 carrots a day to give you that flushed healthy cheeks lol
