So you think that leaving your hair dry naturally is better than using a dryer well let us explain why its not
Although some stylists often recommend sleeping in damp braids to get beachy waves, turns out air-drying may be more harmful than blow-drying: Water causes strands to swell; over time, this could weaken hair from the inside out. In the study, hair samples that were shampooed and then air-dried for two hours were compared to those blasted at various temperatures. Only the air-dried samples had significant damage to the cell membrane complex, the cement that holds cuticle layers together. That’s not to say that dryers can be used without harm: As the temperature of the air increased, the study found, so did the damage to the outer layers of each strand. The healthiest option, if not the speediest, is to dry on the lowest heat setting, with the dryer held at least six inches away from the head.
So instead of trying the easy braid on wet hair and trying to get it overnight, maybe its time to learn how to do it with a hairdryer and a large curling iron.

Well as the fashion weeks travel the globe for 20 16 here is a snap shot of the hair and our inspiration, certainly we have to say there is a clear direction into lived in hair that is loose and airy and a lot of braids which we love! I have to say on a personal level Alberta Ferretti at Milan fashion week which had that medieval sensuality about it ( a little copper wire and a clear vision you can either fix your car radio or create the next look for a A list designer 🙂 , effortless and connected to the look completly!

On and off the runway its very clear that braiding is here ( yes still I hear a lot of you saying! ) I’m sure it didn’t do any harm with Kim K sporting hers regularly over the last few months. Easy to try and easy to do, for those of you who are handy with your fingers ( doing things other than texting ) give it a go! If your all thumbs i suggest getting yourself into the salon and letting the pro’s give it a go!
I can feel a braid bar coming
Your hair screams a lot about who you are as a person and your personality, I know for some woman there husbands have a lot to say when it comes to there hair ( not sure why ) but everyone is different I know from a very young age my father would not dare say do this or do that to my mother because its her hair and even today I can not imagine dictating my preference to my partner but different strokes for different folks. I think that hair is completely individual and has a seasonal influence, even small changes make a huge difference over time and help you evolve the overall look and vibe. I must say the biggest trend right now is undone hair that in fact takes a little getting used to when your styling but once you get the hang of it you wont look like a drowned rat, its all about the right products, the right placement and the right technique.
Baby bangs have also made a come back and can be incredibly sexy on the right face and the right personality, I have seen almost all face shapes with baby bangs and have to say on the right personality it really doesn’t matter to a certain degree. Certainly not a decision you want to take at the drop of a hat if your hair is super long as it will take longer than a few weeks to grow that out but if you have been thinking about it for a while there is no harm in giving it a shot.
