Communication has to be one of the worlds most underrated skills that can cause incredible damage or create the most beautiful relationships and if it all works it’s amazing!

Words like, splicing, texturising, graduated, choppy, tapered, subtle, bold, feathered, blunt or asymmetric can all sound Japanese if you don’t know and why should you it’s not your job right? Well your right, it’s your role when going to the salon to explain how you feel about your hair and how you want it to look after all. We know the biggest complaint in most hair salon visits is that the hairdresser didn’t get it and that’s why we believe the consultation is the most important part of our relationship as a hair salon.

Tips to get it right!

Firstly choosing both the right hair salon is key, asking around, friends you like their hair and then going in for a consultation is one of the best ways to check out the vibe and communication you get with the hairstylist is very important.

Secondly have some reference images of the past that you loved your hair and a dream picture of how you would love your hair to be.

If you have no intention of blowdring it yourself then be honest and say that, because honesty is the best policy when it comes to setting yourself for a win during the salon visit!

Yes we do free consultations to anyone who would like to come and discuss hair we are more than happy to talk and help you understand what’s possible with absolutely no strings attached.
